Actuarial reports made easy PDF Print E-mail

Bradshaw, Dixon and Moore provide full actuarial reports for use when considering offsetting, pension sharing or a combination of the two.  Our reports and processes meet all expert witness standards.

Offsetting

There are six reasons why we believe that CETVs are not appropriate values for use when offsetting for defined benefit pensions (and 3 for pension in payments).  You can download the reasons here.

Our Valuation Report provides alternative appropriate actuarial values for pensions.

Our Offset Report provides an objective adjustment to the pension values to allow for tax and/or the importance of cash to the two parties (also known as "discounting").

Pension sharing

Due to the way schemes implement pension sharing orders 50/50 pension shares are not equal to both parties.

Our Pension Sharing Report provides the necessary pension sharing percentages (or amounts in Scotland), as well as appropriate values for use in offsetting if this is decided upon instead.
